Anna Linnea Freedenfeld and Troy Thomas Porter were united in matrimony on July 8th at the Triple S Ranch in Calistoga, California. The bride is the daughter of Linnea Borg and Mr. Kevin McLaughlin of Essex, Massachusetts. Anna is the granddaughter of the late Mr. and Mrs. Karl Borg. Her groom is the son of Doctors Susan and Charles Porter of Kansas City, Missouri. Troy is the grandson of Dr. and Mrs. Don Smith of Kansas City, the late Mary Lee Smith and the late Mr. and Mrs. Thomas C. Porter. The groom’s parents fêted their son and his future wife at a rehearsal dinner on July 6th, and the bride’s parents were the hosts for the lovely wedding reception. Both festive events were held at the Triple S Ranch.

The maid of honor was Mia Freedenfeld, sister of the bride. Ellen Webb-Friedman, sister of the bride; served as a bridesmaid, along with Jenna Hall, May Dee, Emily Elmore, Cara Scott, Tabitha Stoodley, Kyla Smith, Kate Hugo, Valerie Caveney, Nikita Stone, Janelle Haskell, and Ashley Oesterle. Pete Hanes was the best man. Max Ernst, Ed Baker, Geoff Curran, Cameron Dawkins, John Webster, James Cooling, and Michael Woodsmall were groomsmen. The officiant was Carl Elmore. The three delicious wedding cakes were made by Inga Borg Dowling, sister of the bride. Following a delightful honeymoon spent sailing in the Phillipines and Australia, the newlyweds are at home in London, England. Anna careers with Harlan Estates based in Napa, California, and Troy is employed with Facebook in London.
