Congratulations, Megan & Andrew!

Mr. and Mrs. Rodney Lynn Turner of Our Town are pleased to announce the engagement of their daughter, Megan Lea Turner, to Andrew William Pence, the son of Mr. and Mrs. William Keith Pence of Leawood. The bride-to-be is the granddaughter of Mrs. Alfred Joseph Lane, Sr., of Mission Hills and the late Mr. Lane and the late Mr. and Mrs. Robert Lee Turner, Jr. Megan is a graduate of Shawnee Mission East High School. She earned a bachelor of science degree in journalism from The University of Kansas. Megan is a BOTAR, class of 2010. She is a member of Pi Beta Phi sorority and is careering with Lockton Companies.

Her groom-elect is the grandson of Mr. Donald Joyce Hall of Mission Hills and the late Mrs. Hall and Mrs. William Brink Pence of Liberty, Missouri, and the late Mr. Pence. Andy is a graduate of The Pembroke Hill School. He earned a bachelor of arts degree in English from Southern Methodist University, and an executive master’s degree in business administration from Washington University in St. Louis. Andy was a member of The Jewel Ball floor committee as well as an escort in 2006 and a BOTAR escort in 2010. Theirs will be a September 12th wedding at St. Andrew’s Episcopal Church.
