Charlie’s House – Charlie’s Ball
Union Station Kansas City was the place for the second annual Charlie’s Ball on February 23rd. Parents and children were entertained by Jim Cosgrove, also known as Mr. Stinky Feet. Everyone was dazzled by the balloon drop. Tanna Guthrie was the auctioneer, and Taylor Hemness served the emcee. Dinner (featuring dessert by Freezing Moo) was a hit with the crowd. The festivities also included games and encounters with princesses and other action heroes. The event raised funds for Charlie’s House, which educates caregivers about child safety in the home. Construction is now underway on a safety demonstration house near Children’s Mercy.
