Congratulations, Nicole & Jay!

Mr. and Mrs. Robert Pathman of Los Angeles, California, are pleased to announce the engagement of their daughter, Nicole Jeri Pathman, to Jay William Kombrink, the son of Mr. and Mrs. Kevin Alan Kombrink of Our Town. The bride-to-be is the granddaughter of the late Mr. and Mrs. David Lowe, Jane Pathman of Los Angeles and Mr. Jack Pathman of Los Angeles. Nicole is a graduate of Calabasas High School in Calabasas, California. She earned a bachelor of arts degree in communication studies from The University of Kansas. Nicole is a member of Sigma Delta Tau sorority. She is employed with A-1 CAREERS.

Her groom-elect is the grandson of Dr. and Mrs. Thomas Hoover McGuire of Kansas City, the late Jaye McGuire and Mrs. Wendell Kombrink of Prairie Village and the late Mr. Kombrink. Jay is a graduate of Shawnee Mission East High School. He earned a bachelor of arts degree in economics from The University of Kansas. Jay was a member of The Jewel Ball floor committee in 2008. He is employed with Sprint. Theirs will be an August 15th wedding at the Skirball Center in Los Angeles.
