Congratulations, Mr. & Mrs. Short!

Emily Rhoades Perry and Lucas Charles Short were married on August 23rd at Village Presbyterian Church. The bride is the daughter of Mr. and Mrs. Melville Wilson Perry III of Prairie Village. Her groom is the son of Mr. and Mrs. Larry Charles Short of Hamilton, Kansas. The evening prior, a rehearsal dinner was held at Boulevard Brewery. Following the ceremony, the bride’s parents hosted a beautiful reception at Mission Hills Country Club. Megan Dixon served as the matron of honor. Adri Tallman, Sam Levine, Stacey Johnson, Marit Warren, Taryn Fisher, Tierney Weed, Emily Pier, and Maggie Terry were bridesmaids. Levi Short, brother of the groom; served as the best man. Michael Perry, brother of the bride; Craig Fisher, Kyle Wilkinson, Tanner Forster, Blake Nelson, Bowman Russell, John Moyer, and Mark Kennedy were groomsmen. Andrew Greene, Matt Fuhrman, Dillon Strohm, and Kyle Kost served as the ushers. The happy couple enjoyed a honeymoon to Punta Mita, Mexico, and are at home in Prairie Village. Emily careers with Horn, Aylward and Bandy, and Luke is employed with AT&T.
