Congratulations, Mr. & Mrs. Duerst!

Cate Newell Stark and Stephen Paul Duerst were married on August 16th at St. Andrew’s Episcopal Church. The bride is the daughter of Mr. and Mrs. Allan Breed Stark of Fairway. Cate is the granddaughter of the late Mr. and Mrs. Paul Dayton Newell and the late Mr. and Mrs. Gordon Allan Stark. Her groom is the son of Mr. and Mrs. Paul Eugene Duerst of Wausau, Wisconsin. Stephen is the grandson of Mr. Howard Thomas Yelton of Minocqua, Wisconsin, and the late Mrs. Yelton and Mr. and Mrs. Eugene Palmer Duerst of Minocqua, Wisconsin.

The evening prior, the groom’s parents hosted a rehearsal dinner at Amigoni Urban Winery. Following the ceremony, the bride’s parents hosted a beautiful reception at The Kansas City Country Club. The happy couple enjoyed a honeymoon to Cabo San Lucas, Mexico, and are at home in Mission. Cate is careering with Congressman Kevin Yoder, and Stephen is a law student at The University of Kansas School of Law.
