The Belles of the American Royal – Kim Manka Mann
The Belles of the American Royal are pleased to announce to selection of Kim Manka Mann as their 2013 president. The 64th BOTAR Ball will be held on October 19th at the Muehlebach Tower of the Kansas City Marriott Downtown. Kim is a BOTAR, class of 1990. She served as recording secretary in 1999, vice president of American Royal activities in 2002 and vice president of BOTAR activities in 2005. Other leadership roles include benefactors co-chairman, BOTAR reservation chairman and parade chairman.
Kim is the daughter of Ronald Manka and the late Ann Manka. She attended Shawnee Mission East High School and The University of Kansas. Kim has served on the boards of Kansas City Young Audiences and Friends of Turning Point and works as a mathematics specialist for Rosehill Elementary School. Kim is married to Scott Mann. They are the parents of Annie, 17, and Maddie, 15. Annie was a BOTAR page in 2005 and Maddie was a BOTAR page in 2007.
