Congratulations, Mr. & Mrs. Simpson!
Anna Margaret Dudenhoeffer and Christopher Philip Simpson tied the knot on August 13th at Our Lady of Perpetual Help Redemptorist Catholic Church. The bride is the daughter of Mr. and Mrs. Mark Joseph Dudenhoeffer of Our Town and the granddaughter of Mr. and Mrs. Donald Andrew Austin of Our Town and Mrs. August William Dudenhoeffer of St. Louis, Missouri, and the late Mr. Dudenhoeffer. Her groom is the son of Mr. and Mrs. Robert Charles Simpson II of Bow, New Hampshire, and the grandson of Mr. and Mrs. Paul Collins of Bow, New Hampshire, and Mr. and Mrs. Robert Charles Simpson of Bangor, Maine. The groom’s parents hosted a lovely rehearsal dinner at Webster House on the evening prior to the ceremony.
Following the wedding, the bride’s parents fêted the newlyweds with a reception at The Nelson-Atkins Museum of Art. Catherine Dudenhoeffer, the bride’s sister; served as the maid of honor. Elizabeth Egerstrom, Ashley Green, Whitney Green, Sarah-Allen Preston, Michelle Gillespie Hunt, Brooke Jandl, Carolyn Zwiener, and Laura Zwiener were the bridesmaids. Ryan Simpson, the groom’s brother; served as the best man. Marc Simpson, Scott Simpson, and Connor Simpson, the groom’s brothers; Jack Dudenhoeffer, the bride’s brother; Max Montag and Sam Montag were the groomsmen. Craig Cmar, Shawn Cmar and Daniel Hyzak served as ushers. After honeymooning in Rome and the Amalfi Coast, the couple are now at home in Our Town. Anna is careering with Husch Blackwell, and Christopher is careering with Polsinelli Shughart.
