Kansas City Zoo – 30th Annual Jazzoo
June 7th was the night to don animal prints and go on safari – to a not-too-distant land featuring 65 pop-up restaurants, 10 bars, and five stages with music. Oh, yes, and 5,000 partygoers. The event was the 30th annual Jazzoo. Yvette and Joe Miceli were the honorary chairmen with Marissa Schaffner and Julie Randolph serving as co-chairmen. Proceeds help feed the 1,700 animals in residence and support the Zoo Learning Fund, which educates young people in Our Town.
