Isreali Travelers
A group of Israeli high school juniors recently paid a visit to Our Town. During their trip, the teens visited with students at Hyman Brand Hebrew Academy and Blue Valley North High School, as well as touring the Jewish Community Campus, Leawood’s Gezer Park and the Harry S. Truman Presidential Library and Museum. They also had the chance to meet Andrew Osman, Leawood City Council member; Todd Stettner, Jewish Federation; Mayor Peggy Dunn, Stacey Belzer, Jewish Federation; and Julie Cain, Leawood City Council member. The trip was made possible by the Jewish Federation of Greater Kansas City.
