Congratulations, Mr. and Mrs. Wissing!
Erin Gibson Kerr and Geoffrey Alan Wissing were married on October 13th in Charlottesville, Virginia. The bride is the daughter of Mr. and Mrs. Richard Hunter Snell of Charlottesville and Mr. Everett Gibson Kerr of Our Town. She is the granddaughter of Mr. and Mrs. Wendell Wilkie Wood of Charlottesville and Mr. and Mrs. Whitney Edward Kerr of Prairie Village. Her groom is the son of Mr. and Mrs. Donald Ray Wissing of Ashburn, Virginia, and the late Angela Morris Wissing. He is the grandson of Mr. and Mrs. George Leo Wissing of Marietta, Georgia, and the late Mr. and Mrs. Joe Frank Morris.
On the evening prior, Mr. and Mrs. Donald Ray Wissing hosted a rehearsal dinner at Old Metropolitan Hall. Following the ceremony at Holy Comforter Catholic Church, Erin’s parents hosted a lovely reception at Verulam Farm. Reagan Kerr Barnes, sister of the bride; served as the matron of honor. Anne Elizabeth Kerr, sister of the bride; Hunter Schenk, step-sister of the bride; Austin Ferguson, Fran Haas, Shaney Soderquist, and Emily Langsenkamp were bridesmaids. Andrew Wissing, brother of the groom; served as the best man. Brennan Graves, step-brother of the groom; Campbell Kerr, brother of the bride; Zach MacDowall, John Rubertone, Lee Malchow, Shane Brown, and Austin Steele were groomsmen. The happy couple are at home in Marietta, Georgia, where Erin is careering with Kennesaw State University’s Department of Athletics, and Geoff is employed by American Maglev Technology.
