Congratulations, Mr. and Mrs. Steele!
Kristen Leigh Briggs and Stephen Douglas Steele were married on August 3rd at Cherry Hills Country Club in Denver, Colorado. The bride is the daughter of Mr. and Mrs. Douglas Briggs of Olathe. She is the granddaughter of Mr. and Mrs. Kenneth Fenwick of Larned, Kansas, Mr. and Mrs. Reed Peters of Larned, Kansas, and Mrs. Kenneth Briggs of Independence, Missouri, and the late Mr. Briggs. Her groom is the son of Mr. and Mrs. Kendall Steele of Phoenix, Arizona. Stephen is the grandson of Mr. and Mrs. Ernie Gardner of Taber, Alberta, Canada, and Mr. and Mrs. Donald Steele of Calgary, Alberta, Canada. The evening prior, the groom’s parents hosted a rehearsal dinner at Garcia’s. Following the ceremony, the bride’s parents hosted a lovely reception at Cherry Hills Country Club. Virginia Scurti served as the maid of honor. Mimi Steele and Hayley Steele, sisters of the groom; and Jennifer Hubbell were bridesmaids. Craig Steele, brother of the groom; was the best man. Brett Steele, brother of the groom; and Taylor Briggs and Mitchell Briggs, brothers of the bride; were groomsmen. Jordyn Briggs, niece of the bride; was the flower girl. The happy couple enjoyed a honeymoon in Curacao, and are at home in Tucson, Arizona. Kristen is careering with HSL Asset Management, and Stephen is pursuing a juris doctor at the University of Arizona’s James E. Rogers College of Law.
