Congratulations, Melissa & Casey!
Mr. and Mrs. Michael Goodwin Fate of Mission Hills are pleased to announce the engagement of their daughter, Melissa Goodwin Fate, to Casey Jon Sansale, the son of Mr. and Mrs. Paul Sansale of St. Paul, Minnesota. The bride-to-be is the granddaughter of Mrs. Fredrick Schoenfeld of Mission Hills and the late Mr. Schoenfeld and Mrs. Jack Fate of Leawood and the late Mr. Fate. Melissa is a graduate of Shawnee Mission East High School. She attended the University of Arizona and earned a bachelor of arts degree in human development and family life and child development from The University of Kansas. Melissa earned a master’s degree in teaching and learning from Avila University. She is a member of Kappa Kappa Gamma sorority. Melissa was a Jewel Ball debutante in 2001 and is a BOTAR, class of 2004. She is careering as a teacher at St. Paul’s Episcopal Day School.
Her groom-elect is the grandson of the late Mr. and Mrs. Arthur Hummel and the late Mr. and Mrs. Edward Sansale. Casey is a graduate of St. Thomas Academy in Mendota Heights, Minnesota. He earned a bachelor’s degree in business from Iowa State University. Casey earned an executive master of business administration degree from the Henry W. Bloch School of Management at the University of Missouri – Kansas City. Casey is employed by Cerner Corporation. Theirs will be a July 5th wedding at The Broadmoor in Colorado Springs.
