Julie Hogan Shea of Andover, Kansas, and Mr. Wayne Allen Shea, of Overland Park, Kansas, are pleased to announce the engagement of their daughter, Kaitlin Anne Shea, to Cooper Scott Mach, the son of Mr. and Mrs. Scott Weston Mach of Shawnee, Kansas. The bride-to-be is the granddaughter of Mr. and Mrs. Francis Allen Shea of Somerset, Massachusetts, and the late Maxine Lenores Hogan and the late Mr. William Walter Hogan. Kaitlin is a graduate of Andover Central High School. She earned a bachelor of science degree in mass communications from Kansas State University. She is a member of Alpha Delta Pi sorority and is employed with Digital Evolution Group in Overland Park. 

Her groom-elect is the grandson of Dr. and Mrs. Duane Lavon Mach of Peoria, Illinois, and the late Gloria Potvin Cray and the late Mr. Richard Baxter Cray. Cooper is a graduate of Shawnee Mission Northwest High School. He was a member of the Jewel Ball floor committee and an escort in 2009. Cooper received a bachelor of arts degree in journalism from Kansas State University and a juris doctorate from The University of Kansas. He is a member of Beta Theta Pi fraternity and served as a BOTAR escort in 2014. Cooper is employed with The Popham Law Firm in Kansas City, Missouri. Theirs will be a September 29th wedding at Our Lady of Sorrows Catholic Church in Kansas City, Missouri.
