Mr. and Mrs. Stephen Kent Hickerson of Overland Park, Kansas, are pleased to announce the engagement of their daughter, Emily Anne Hickerson, to Peter Bryant Milledge, the son of Mr. and Mrs. Droste DeForest Milledge, Jr. of Mission Hills, Kansas. The bride-to-be is the granddaughter of the late Mr. and Mrs. James Tollefson, Dianne Hickerson Elton of Okoboji, Iowa, and the late Mr. Tom Hickerson. Emily is a graduate of Blue Valley Northwest High School. She earned a bachelor of arts degree in biology from The University of Kansas. A member of Kappa Kappa Gamma sorority, Emily is employed with Eli Lilly and Company. 

Her groom-elect is the grandson of Mrs. Bryant Page Barnes of Mission Hills, Kansas, and the late Mr. Barnes, and Mr. and Mrs. Droste DeForest Milledge of Prairie Village, Kansas. Peter is a graduate of Shawnee Mission East High School. He was a Gentleman of The Jewel Ball in 2015. Peter earned a bachelor of science degree in finance from The University of Kansas. A member of Phi Delta Theta fraternity, he is employed with PSG Equity in Kansas City, Missouri. Theirs will be a May 25th wedding at Church of the Resurrection – Brookside in Kansas City.
