Congratulations, Elizabeth & Ted!

Elizabeth Phillips Starr and Captain Edward James Gallagher, United States Army, were married on December 30th at Country Club Christian Church in Kansas City, Missouri. The bride is the daughter of Alicia Noonan Starr of Kansas City and the late John Starr. Elizabeth is the granddaughter of Wilmagene and Lewis Noonan of Leawood, Kansas, and Barry and Philip Starr of Sarasota, Florida. Her groom is the son of Karen and Harry Gallagher, Jr. of Prairie Village, Kansas. Ted is the grandson of Donald Bonner of Overland Park, Kansas, and the late Margie Bonner, and the late Margaret and Harry Gallagher, Sr. The Gallaghers toasted their son and future daughter-in-law at a rehearsal dinner in The Muehlebach Suite at Boulevard Brewing Company on the evening prior to the nuptials.

Isabel Kramer served as the maid of honor, and Ted’s twin brother, Ben Gallagher, was the best man. The bridesmaids were Elizabeth Helzberg, Erin Harvey, Daryl Hesse, and Kacy Hobbis, and Alex Hollister was the bridesman. Fitz McDonough and Captain Dixon Pattillo, Captain CJ Sloan, Captain Marqus Burrell, and Captain Clayton Vermeesch, all with the United States Army, were the groomsmen. Jack Starr and Robert Starr, the bride’s brothers, served as ushers. After the ceremony, the Starr family hosted a reception at The Kansas City Country Club. Elizabeth is a school psychologist for the Stepping Stones Group. Ted is stationed in Dahlonega, Georgia. The couple resides in Dawsonville, Georgia.
