Congratulations, Dorothy and Louis!
Mr. and Mrs. Richard Fred Owen of Our Town are pleased to announce the engagement of their daughter, Dorothy Caroline Owen, to Louis Joseph Weber IV, the son of Susan England Coke of Dallas, Texas, and Mr. Louis Joseph Weber III of Dallas, Texas. The bride-to-be is the granddaughter of the late Mr. and Mrs. Charles Francis McCord and Mrs. Edward Fred Owen of Omaha, Nebraska, and the late Mr. Owen. Caroline is a graduate of The Pembroke Hill School. She was a Jewel Ball debutante in 2006. Caroline earned a bachelor of science degree in journalism from The University of Kansas. She is a member of Kappa Kappa Gamma sorority and a BOTAR, class of 2009. Caroline is careering with Sullivan Higdon & Sink.
Her groom-elect is the grandson of Mr. and Mrs. Thomas Lorenz England, Jr. of Dallas and Mr. and Mrs. Louis Joseph Weber, Jr. of Dallas. Louie is a graduate of Highland Park High School in Dallas. He earned a bachelor of arts degree in communications studies from The University of Kansas. Louie is a member of Phi Gamma Delta fraternity and is employed with Fults Commercial in Dallas. Theirs will be an August 23rd wedding at Grace and Holy Trinity Cathedral.
