Adele McConnell Royle and Blake Clemens McCartney were joined in matrimony on July 22nd at the Cathedral of the Immaculate Conception in Kansas City, Missouri. The bride is the daughter of Gwen and Mike Royle of Parkville, Missouri. Her groom is the son of Michele and David McCartney of Manchester, Missouri. Adele is the granddaughter of Anita Gorman of Kansas City, Missouri, and the late Gerald Gorman, and John Royle of Blue Springs, Missouri, and the late Joanne Royle. Blake is the grandson of the late Mary Rose and Clemens Petschel, and Ginger McCartney of St. Louis, Missouri, and the late James McCartney. The evening prior to the ceremony, the groom’s parents hosted a lovely rehearsal dinner at The River Club. The couple was feted by the bride’s parents at a beautiful reception following the ceremony at the Muehlebach Tower of the Kansas City Marriott Downtown. The nuptial festivities were completed with an after-party and a brunch the next day, hosted by the bride’s parents. After a honeymoon in Santorini, Greece, the newlyweds are at home with their family cats, Diego and Tony, in Des Peres, Missouri, where they are both employed with Boeing.
