Congratulations, Mr. & Mrs. Dietrich!
Reverend and Mrs. Dwight Tawney announce the marriage of Laura Leigh Wilkerson and Adam Christopher Dietrich, who were married May 19th at Village Presbyterian Church. The bride is the daughter of Mrs. Dwight Tawney of Leawood and the late Mr. William Ralph Wilkerson III. Laura is the granddaughter of the late Mr. and Mrs. Dean Morrow and the late Mr. and Mrs. William Ralph Wilkerson, Jr. Her groom is the son of Mr. and Mrs. Diamond Dietrich of St. Louis, Missouri. Adam is the grandson of Mrs. Dale Wiltfang of Our Town and the late Mr. Wiltfang and the late Mr. and Mrs. Willis Dietrich. On the evening prior to the ceremony, Mr. and Mrs. Diamond Dietrich hosted a lovely rehearsal dinner at Hotel Phillips. Following the ceremony, Reverend and Mrs. Dwight Tawney féted the couple with a reception at Indian Hills Country Club. Libby Yingling was the maid of honor, and Holly Garringer, Leah Fishman, Aubrey Peeke, Andrea Morrow, the bride’s cousin; and Liz Fendell, the groom’s sister; served as bridesmaids. Joe Polise served as the best man, and Bobby Lindquist, Zach Ross, Jeff Nelson, Sam Crawford, and Grant Wilkerson, the bride’s brother; were groomsmen. Mallory Wilkerson, the bride’s niece; was the flower girl, and Garrett Wilkerson, the bride’s nephew; was the ring bearer. The bride was escorted down the aisle by her brother, Grant Wilkerson. The bride recently earned her master of arts degree in teaching from the University of Southern California and is careering with Chuze Fitness in San Diego, California. Adam is employed by Wells Fargo in San Diego. The happy couple honeymooned in St. Barts and is at home in San Diego.
