Congratulations, Mr. and Mrs. Lin!
Sara Elizabeth Colt Goodwin and George Thomas Lin were married on June 22nd at Christ Community Church Brookside. The bride is the daughter of Kristin and John Goodwin of Mission Hills, Kansas. She is the granddaughter of Sara Colt of Mission Hills and the late Mack Colt, and Elizabeth and Frederick Goodwin, Jr. of Mission Hills. Her groom is the son of Katherine and Dr. Boyang Lin of Richardson, Texas. George is the grandson of Catherine and George Smith, Jr., of Midland, Texas, and the late Dr. Mary Pin Chang and the late Dr. TongChi Lin. On the evening prior to the ceremony, the groom’s parents toasted their son and future daughter-in-law at a rehearsal dinner at Grand Street Cafe. Following the wedding, the bride’s parents hosted a reception at The Kansas City Country Club. Catherine Goodwin, sister of the bride, served as maid of honor, and Anne Elder was the matron of honor. Mary Carnes, Elizabeth Deckert, cousin of the bride, Emily Hilliard, Riley MacAulay, Tenley Shield, and Katrine Steffensen were bridesmaids. Andrew Lin, brother of the groom, served as the best man. Ojima Agada, David Bowman, Jamie Cuffe, Garrett Glanton, John Goodwin II, brother of the bride, Matthew Martinez, and Elton McIntosh were groomsmen. The happy couple enjoyed a honeymoon in Fiji and New Zealand. Sara and George are at home in Nashville, Tennessee, where they are medical students at Vanderbilt University.
