Congratulations, Lauren & Eric!
Karen Reed Vaughan and Mr. Joseph Harry Vaughan, Jr., both of Prairie Village, Kansas, are pleased to announce the engagement of their daughter, Lauren Elizabeth Vaughan, to Eric Joseph Racki, the son of Mr. and Mrs. Charles Francis Racki of Shawnee, Kansas. The bride-to-be is the granddaughter of Mr. and Mrs. H. DuMont Reed of Prairie Village and the late Mr. and Mrs. Joseph Harry Vaughan. Lauren is a graduate of Shawnee Mission East High School. She was presented at the Junior League of Johnson and Wyandotte Counties Community Ball and Cotillion in 2002. Lauren earned a bachelor of science degree in interior design from Kansas State University and is studying for a master’s degree in adult learning and leadership at Kansas State University Olathe. She is a member of Delta Delta Delta sorority.
Her groom-elect is the grandson of Mrs. Charles Racki of Kansas City, Kansas, and the late Mr. Racki, and the late Mr. and Mrs. George Frank Modrcin. Eric is a graduate of St. Thomas Aquinas High School. He received a bachelor of science degree in business administration from Kansas State University and a professional science master’s degree in applied science and technology from Kansas State University Olathe. Lauren and Eric are both careering with Kansas State University Olathe. Theirs will be an October 12th wedding at Holy Trinity Catholic Church in Lenexa, Kansas.
