Congratulations, Mr. & Mrs. Scimeca!

Lauren Ann McCarthy and Ross Vincent Scimeca were married on February 17th at The Nelson-Atkins Museum of Art. The bride is the daughter of Mr. and Mrs. John Christopher McCarthy of Leawood, Kansas. Lauren is the granddaughter of Norma Hutsell of Overland Park, Kansas. Her groom is the son of Mr. and Mrs. Phillip Scimeca of Kansas City, Missouri. Ross is the grandson of Mr. and Mrs. Ross Cascio of Kansas City. The groom’s parents toasted their son and future daughter-in-law with a rehearsal dinner at Grand Street on the evening of February 15th. Following the ceremony, the bride’s parents hosted a beautiful reception for the new Mr. and Mrs. Scimeca at the Museum. Toni Bonadonna, sister of the groom; Frank Scimeca, brother of the groom; and Wes McCarthy and Ryan McCarthy, brothers of the bride; served as attendants. Jack Scimeca, son of the groom; was the junior best man. Lucy Scimeca, daughter of the groom; was the junior maid of honor. Following a honeymoon in Maui, Hawaii, the couple is at home in Kansas City, Missouri. Lauren and Ross are employed with the McCarthy Auto Group.
