Powell Gardens – Under A Blue Moon: Garden Party and Rare Plant Auction

Ashley Broockerd and Anne Riker Powell were the co-chairmen for Under A Blue Moon: Garden Party and Rare Plant Auction, which was held at Powell Gardens on June 11th. The honorary chairman was Alan Branhagen, the former director of horticulture. A Fund-A-Need in Alan’s honor supported the expansion, and care and maintenance of the plant collections. Guests dined al fresco and enjoyed sumptuous views and a wonderful auction. Dick Wilson served as the master of ceremonies. Proceeds support children’s education programs.
