Congratulations, Jacquelyn & David!
Mr. and Mrs. Myron William Haith of Leawood are pleased to announce the engagement of their daughter, Jacquelyn Andrea Steeves Haith, to David Oliver Smart V, the son of Mr. and Mrs. William Perkins Love, Jr. of Leawood and Mr. Christopher Smart of Prairie Village. Jacquelyn is the granddaughter of Dr. and Mrs. John Herbert Steeves of Skowhegan, Maine, and the late Mr. and Mrs. Joseph Haith. Jacquelyn is a graduate of Shawnee Mission East High School. She earned a bachelor of arts degree in psychology from The University of Kansas. Jacquelyn is a member of Pi Beta Phi sorority. She is working toward a bachelor of science degree in nursing from Saint Luke’s College of Health Sciences.
Her groom-elect is the grandson of Mr. and Mrs. William Pachter of Overland Park, Mr. and Mrs. Myron Wang of Prairie Village and the late Mr. and Mrs. Robert L. Smart. David is a graduate of The Pembroke Hill School. He was a member of The Jewel Ball floor committee and an escort in 2010. David earned a bachelor of science degree in management from Indiana University. He was a BOTAR escort in 2014. David is a member of Sigma Chi fraternity and is a partner with BioStar Renewables. Theirs will be an August 5th wedding at The 10th in Vail, Colorado.
