Congratulations, Mr. & Mrs. Spitsnogle!

Frances Read Clay and Andrew Iain Spitsnogle were married on April 2nd at St. Andrew’s Episcopal Church. The bride is the daughter of Mr. and Mrs. James Nicholas Clay of Leawood. She is the granddaughter of Mr. and Mrs. Frederick Hagaman Benners of Dallas, Texas, the late Mr. Daniel John Shea and the late Mr. and Mrs. George Harry Clay. Her groom is the son of Jill Wylie Paton of Prairie Village and Mr. Steven Walter Spitsnogle of Overland Park. He is the grandson of the late Mr. and Mrs. Iain MacDonald Paton and the late Mr. and Mrs. Marvin Dixon Spitsnogle. On the evening prior, the groom’s parents hosted a lovely rehearsal dinner at Webster House. Following the ceremony, the bride’s parents hosted a beautiful reception at 28 Event Space. Shannon Elizabeth Clay and Rebecca Jordan Clay, sisters of the bride; were the maids of honor, and Peter Joseph Spitsnogle, brother of the groom; served as the best man. The happy couple enjoyed a honeymoon to St. Lucia and is at home in Our Town. Frances is careering with the American Academy of Family Physicians, and Andrew is employed with Duggan Shadwick Doerr & Kurlbaum.
