Congratulations, Nicole & Calvin!

Mr. and Mrs. Michael A. Luby, Jr. of Fairway are pleased to announce the engagement of their daughter, Kathlyn Nicole Luby, to Calvin Woodard Tidwell, the son of Mrs. Brant Tidwell of Prairie Village and the late Mr. Tidwell. The bride-to-be is the granddaughter of Mrs. Robert E. Smith of Prairie Village and the late Dr. Smith and Mrs. Michael A. Luby, Sr. of McKinney, Texas, and the late Mr. Luby. Nicole is a graduate of Shawnee Mission East High School. She was a Jewel Ball debutante in 2011. Nicole earned a bachelor of fine arts degree in environmental design from The University of Kansas. She is a BOTAR, class of 2014. Nicole is a member of Kappa Delta sorority and careers with GastingerWalker&. 

Her groom-elect is the grandson of Mr. and Mrs. W. Ted Tidwell of Garfield, Arkansas, and the late Mr. and Mrs. Earl E. Woodard. Calvin is a graduate of Shawnee Mission East High School. He earned a bachelor of science degree in finance and accounting and a master of accounting degree from The University of Kansas. Calvin was a BOTAR escort in 2014. He is a member of Beta Theta Pi fraternity and is employed with KP&G. Theirs will be a June 18th wedding at The Gallery Event Space.
