Congratulations, Mr. and Mrs. Douglas Beardsley!
Dr. Courtney Brooke Jackson and Douglas Joseph Beardsley were married on July 15th at Mount Hood Organic Farm in Hood River, Oregon. The bride is the daughter of Dr. and Mrs. Roger Paul Jackson of Our Town, and the granddaughter of the late Mr. and Mrs. John Robert Stevens and the late Mr. and Mrs. Paul William Jackson. Her groom is the son of Theresa Beardsley and Mr. Samuel C. Beardsley of Portland, Oregon, and the grandson of Mr. Raymond Bazan of Woodbridge, Virginia, and the late Mrs. Bazan, and Mrs. Richard Wade of Beaverton, Oregon, and the late Mr. Samuel Beardsley. The evening prior, a rehearsal dinner was held at 3 Rivers Grill. Following the ceremony, Dr. and Mrs. Roger Jackson féted the couple at Mount Hood Organic Farm. Members of the wedding party included the bride’s sister, Mrs. John Edmonds, matron of honor; and attendants Mr. Scott Jackson and Dr. Brad Jackson, brothers of the bride. The groom’s brother, Mr. Steven Beardsley, served as best man; and the groomsman was Mr. Nick Beardsley, brother of the groom. The happy couple honeymooned in Lake Tahoe and are at home in Portland, Oregon. Courtney is careering as a physician with the National College of Natural Medicine, and Doug is a teacher at Reynolds High School in Troutdale, Oregon.
