In The Spotlight – Magic Ball “Do You Believe in Magic”
January 17th is the date for the Kansas City Young Matrons’ Magic Ball. “Do You Believe in Magic” is the theme of the event to be held at the Kansas City Marriott Downtown. UMKC Chancellor Leo Morton is the honorary chairman, and Janet Bjerke and Mary Beth Hershey are serving as the co-chairmen. Guests will enjoy cocktails, dinner, a raffle, a live auction, and dancing to the music of KOKOMO. A Patrons’ Party will be held on January 15th at Three Points. Proceeds will support NAMI (National Alliance on Mental Illness) Kansas City.
